Founding list now, pilot later. Last updated October 11, 2026.
These terms cover two things: the free Future Self Call founding list and its gifts, which are open now, and the paid pilot, which isn't open yet. The pilot part tells you in advance how it will work. Before you pay for anything, we'll show you the final pilot terms and the price, and you'll agree to them then.

The founding list
- It's free. No card, nothing to pay, and no obligation to join the pilot later.
- Joining means we'll email you when the pilot opens where you are. That's all the list is for.
- You can leave anytime: reply to any email from us, or write to hello@thenameyoucarry.com.
- A place on the list doesn't reserve a place in the pilot, a date or a price. If we offer founding members something special, we'll say exactly what it is when the pilot opens.
- The list is for people 18 and older. Please join only with your own email address.
The gifts
- The gifts you download when you join (the printable pages, the lock screens and the audio) are free. They're yours to keep whether or not you ever take a call.
- They're for your own personal use. Please don't sell them or share them as your own.
- They're offered as they are. They're simple wellbeing exercises, not advice or treatment.
The pilot (when it opens)
This section describes the paid pilot so you know what to expect. It doesn't apply until the pilot opens and you sign up for it.
- What it is: 14 mornings. Each morning you get a short phone call, about two minutes, from "future you": living in the end, a moment of gratitude, one small step for today, and your own sentence said out loud together.
- When it starts: you choose the start date and the time of your call when you sign up.
- Calls and texts: we call and text only the number you give us, only with your written consent, and only for the pilot (your calls, a short reminder or a link to reschedule).
- STOP ends everything. Reply STOP to any of our texts, or tell us by email, and all calls and texts stop. We'll confirm once by text and then stay quiet.
AI disclosure
- Future Self Call is an AI service. The calls use an artificial, AI-generated voice, and every call says so at the start.
- If you choose to hear "future you" in your own voice, we make that voice only with your explicit consent, use it only for your calls, and delete it when the pilot ends or when you ask. You can choose a different voice instead.
- The call is generated for you from what you tell us. It can get things wrong, and it isn't a person.
Price and refunds
- We'll show the price, in your currency, before you pay. There are no hidden fees and no automatic renewal.
- Refund if not started: if your pilot hasn't started yet (no call has been placed), you can cancel and get a full refund. Write to hello@thenameyoucarry.com.
- If we can't start your pilot, for any reason on our side, we refund you in full.
- Nothing here limits the rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Availability
The pilot opens in a few countries first. We take payment and place calls only where the pilot is available, and we'll tell you before you pay whether it's open where you live. If it isn't open where you are yet, you can stay on the founding list and we'll tell you when it is.
Not therapy or advice
Future Self Call is a daily wellbeing practice. It is not therapy, and it is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything and makes no promises about money, relationships, health or any other outcome. If you're working with a doctor or therapist, keep doing that, and talk to them before changing anything about your care.

Future Self Call isn't a crisis service, and nobody watches the calls live. If you're thinking about harming yourself, or you're in danger, please reach out right now:
- United States: call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).
- United Kingdom and Ireland: call Samaritans on 116 123, free, any time.
- Anywhere else: call your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country.
- If your life is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
Age
The founding list and the pilot are for people 18 and older.
Using it fairly
Please don't sign anyone else up, give a phone number that isn't yours, try to break or overload the service, or use it to harm anyone. We may remove someone from the list or end a pilot if they do, and we'll refund any unused part of a paid pilot.
Our responsibility
We do our best to keep the list, the gifts and the pilot working, but we can't promise they'll always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, our responsibility for a paid pilot is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Changes don't apply to a pilot you've already paid for unless you agree to them.
